NEW TAMPA

New Tampa is a very popular north Tampa Bay location for all sorts of lifestyles. With plenty of conservation areas and lakes, parks and golf courses, this upscale residential area is really a city in itself. With over 24 square miles in the City of Tampa itself (incorporated 1988) plus more acreage in unincorporated Hillsborough and unofficially Pasco county. Although technically Wesley Chapel (located in Pasco County) is not officially New Tampa, most people consider it to be part of it. And the Shops at Wiregrass Shopping Center is located there.

Boundaries include Lutz to the West, Thonotosassa to the East, Wesley Chapel to the North at County Line Road and University of South Tampa to the South. Pebble Creek and Tampa Palms are two of the oldest communities. There is still tremendous growth going on in both residential and commercial development and a great place to find a home should this location meet your needs. Like any fast growing area, there are some infrastructure issues that are still being worked on to accommodate the needs of this community. But none of it is stopping people from buying there. Having both the Interstate 75 as well as Interstate 275 along with the bustling Bruce B Downs Blvd and Cross Creek Blvd make access to all parts of Tampa Bay another reason affording the popularity of New Tampa Florida.
