TAMPA CITRUS PARK REAL ESTATE
Tampa Home For Sale

The Tampa Bay area of Citrus Park is another northwest neighborhood that offers easy access to all of the Tampa Bay area for entertainment, beaches, shopping, work and transportation. When thinking about moving to the area of Citrus Park Tampa Real Estate, know that this area is one of the most convenient to all of the Tampa Bay area as well as offering a wide variety of lifestyles, from the suburban to the country life.

Citrus Park real estate offers single-family, some estate properties, condominiums, townhouses and land for custom homes. There are moderately priced single family and townhome/condo communities designed with neighborhood restrictions as well as large pieces of land with older homes on them. The Schools in Citrus Park are public and private and are well received.

One of the best features of living here is its close proximity to the Veterans Expressway Tollway (589), which transports area residents and visitors from the south of Tampa for 15  miles and becomes the Suncoast Tollway all the way to Citrus County, for another 42 miles. This 57 mile of highway provides a baseline for branches of roads leading off of it so that commuters and travelers alike can easily access all of Tampa Bay.

There is an uncertain definition as to its actual boundaries depending on who you talk to, as Citrus Park flows right into the larger neighborhood of Carrollwood to the east of it and borders on the exclusive area of Keystone to the north and the expansive community of Odessa to the northwest.  The well manicured and very popular community of Westchase is to the southwest.
Odessa to the northwest / Keystone area to the north

Westchase to the west /Countryway to the southwest

Citrus Park is home to a convenient, people friendly mall, called Westfield Citrus Park. With over 1 million sq ft, about 150 different stores, a 20 movie screen theatre and over 20 restaurants in and around it, it is a very busy place for people living in northwest Tampa. Offering concierge service, strollers, electric scooters, wheelchairs, 2 play areas, a family lounge area and more, this place is bustling. It is a Mecca of convenience that is surrounded by additional shopping and entertainment as well. There are future plans to develop an actual village community further north of here that is more pedestrian friendly, but that is currently on hold. So in the next 20 years we will look for a community of residents similar to that of the Hyde Park area in South Tampa on the corner of Gunn Highway and Ehrlich Road.

A unique attraction to the area that offers tours to the public is the Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit permanent sanctuary for exotic cats. You will see over 100 animals of over 14 different species of Lions, Leopards, Cougars, Jaguars, Tigers, Cheetahs and more. The Upper Tampa Bay Trail is just minutes away for all you Bikers, inline skaters, walkers, joggers, equestrian riders and even fishermen.

Today, residential homes in this area range from $175,000 to over $400,000, while the average is about $250,000 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garages home.
